This is the piece we make when we want to use the whole leaf, including the darker outer strips and the paler heart. It is not a flat object. It stands a few centimetres off the wall, and the shadows it throws change through the day.
Built from leftover strips
Each panel is assembled from strips left over from basket work, sorted by tone into a loose composition. We build the base row, then layer shapes over it, pinning each one in place before the next goes on. The arrangement is decided as we work, which is why every hanging is different.

- A dining room with plain walls
- A gift for someone who loves texture
This is a limited piece. We make a small number each month from the season's leftover strips, so the exact tones change from one run to the next.
Nothing is wasted in a workshop. The scraps of one basket become the pattern of the next.
Hang it away from a radiator or a sunny window. The colours will settle over the first few weeks and then hold for years.
