This pouch is the smallest thing we weave that still closes. It is a little rounded bag with a drawstring threaded through the top row, made for the small loose things that otherwise roll around the bottom of a bag.
A drawstring through the weave
Rather than sewing a channel, we leave the top row slightly open as we weave, then thread a cotton cord straight through the gaps. Pull the cord and the pouch closes in a soft pleat. It is a simple trick and it means the closure can never come apart from the bag.
